Staff Info: Adrian Carpenter
Adrian Carpenter currently serves as a Program Supervisor at the Circle of Care Center for Families.  He supervises the Parents As Teachers program, At-Risk Youth Services, and the Center’s volunteers.  Parents As Teachers is a program that serves parents throughout their pregnancy and until their child reaches five years of age.  The goal of this program is safe and healthy children who are school-ready when they begin kindergarten.  He also provides at-risk youth services to local schools. Additionally, Adrian serves on several committees and boards that seek to improve the lives of children and families.

Adrian currently attends Manna Fellowship where he serves in various leadership roles. Prior to attending Manna Fellowship he served as youth pastor at Vineyard Christian Fellowship – Anniston, Alabama.  He has served in leadership roles within local churches since 1990.

Adrian holds a Bachelors of Social Work degree from Jacksonville State University. He has twenty-three years experience serving youth and families both within secular organizations and churches. He has worked at the Circle of Care since 2001. His passion is working with those in need and especially with those affected by poverty.

Adrian is married to Christy Carpenter.  Christy is a licensed professional counselor and is currently the special education coordinator for Lanett City Schools.  They are the very proud parents of Katie Carpenter, their nine year old daughter.
